Project Background:
The Wuxi Metro Line 1 Wuxi Metro Control Center and supporting facilities project, centered on two core requirements—protection against external engineering disturbances and enhancement of existing structural load-bearing capacity—under the dual constraints of soft soil and water-rich silty sand stratum characteristics and construction restrictions on operating lines, adopted high-performance structural adhesives and steel plate composite reinforcement technology to implement precise reinforcement of tunnel segments and key structural parts of stations. This not only ensured the continued safe operation of the line but also provided a technical demonstration for reinforcement of existing urban rail transit lines.
