Loudi South High-speed Railway Station, as a regional core transportation hub at the intersection of the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway and the Loudi-Shaoyang Railway, has been undertaking important passenger transfer tasks in all directions since its opening in December 2014, with peak daily passenger flow exceeding 20,000 person-times. The station building covers a floor area of 12,000 square meters and features a traditional Chinese large-roof design. The platform scale is 4 platforms and 8 tracks, equipped with 4 passenger platforms totaling 450 meters in length and 2 passenger passageways, making it the fourth largest high-speed railway station in Hunan Province. With increasing service years, continuously rising passenger flow, and planned functional upgrades, some structures have experienced durability deterioration, urgently requiring systematic structural optimization and safety upgrades.
