Project Background:
The Structural Reinforcement Project for the Cleanroom of the State Key Laboratory of Radio Frequency Heterogeneous Integration at Shenzhen University is a critical infrastructure upgrade project supporting the national strategy of "lane-changing overtaking" in integrated circuits. The project is led by Shenzhen University, with administrative supervision by the Housing and Construction Bureau of Nanshan District. Located in the basement space of Phase I of the Science and Technology Park building, the project aims to enhance structural safety to meet the Class-100 cleanroom environment required for high-precision RF chip R&D. The main scope includes demolishing and rebuilding sections of floor slabs, reinforcing beams, and other measures to improve seismic performance and load-bearing capacity, ensuring the stable operation of precision equipment such as electron beam lithography systems and multi-chamber coating systems. The estimated total investment is 4.3002 million yuan, with a planned construction period from April 15 to July 14, 2024. The design services were awarded to Shenzhen University Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. This project serves as a core safeguard for the operational safety of the laboratory's 2,000-square-meter ultra-clean experimental platform (including Class-100 and Class-10,000 clean zones), directly supporting the R&D of RF heterogeneous integration processes and driving breakthroughs across the entire chain from materials and devices to systems. Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance the laboratory's research capacity and stability in cutting-edge fields such as millimeter-wave integrated circuits and on-chip antenna testing.
