Project Background:
Beijing Anti-Drug Education Base is located on Huangchang Road, Dougezhuang, Chaoyang District. It is under the administration of Beijing Youth Service Center (Beijing Anti-Drug Education Base Management Center). First built in 2007, it is one of the first batch of government-sponsored public welfare anti-drug education platforms nationwide, receiving more than 60,000 visitors annually.
Starting from 2025, the base launched a systematic upgrading and renovation project focusing on three core orientations: technology empowerment, immersive experience and full coverage, to comprehensively reshape the anti-drug education model.
Driven by the Project to Address Historical Problems of the Comprehensive Building, the fiscal budget for the renovation in 2025 rose by 31.17% year-on-year to 151 million yuan. The funds are mainly allocated to digital upgrading of exhibition halls, functional reconstruction of spaces and renewal of safety facilities. After renovation, the total construction area of the base remains 8,842 square meters, while the exhibition area will be expanded to 4,200 square meters, forming a four-stage education closed loop of "cognition — experience — reflection — action". -
