Yangjiang Nuclear Power Plant, located in Yangjiang, Guangdong, in a coastal environment of high salt spray, high humidity, and marine erosion along the South China Sea, is a key clean energy base for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The plant's six million-kilowatt-class units have been operating at full capacity for an extended period. Coupled with requirements for refueling outages, system modifications, equipment upgrades, and structural durability management, the concrete structures of circulating water structures, equipment foundations, maintenance platforms, and bracket anchorage points have experienced embedded component aging, localized deterioration, and the need for new equipment anchorage. To strictly meet nuclear safety standards, restore structural load-bearing capacity and durability, anchoring reinforcement (rebar planting) has been implemented during outage windows, utilizing nuclear-grade specialized materials and nuclear-grade construction quality control to ensure long-term safe and stable operation of the units.
