Project Background:
The Shandong Liaocheng Yanggu 118.75MW Wind Power Project is invested and constructed by Huadian (Yanggu) New Energy Development Co., Ltd. It is located in Zhangqiu Town and Shiwuliyuan Town, Yanggu County, and is a key new energy project under Shandong Province's "14th Five-Year Plan." The total installed capacity is 118.75MW, with 19 wind turbines each rated at 6.25MW. The rotor diameter is 220 meters, and the hub height is 160 meters, using a hybrid tower structure to enhance power generation efficiency in low-wind-speed areas. The project includes a new 220kV booster station and a 42MW/84MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage system to smooth wind power output and coordinate grid peak regulation. The project achieved full-capacity grid connection on January 1, 2026, becoming Huadian's first hybrid-tower wind power project in Shandong. The dynamic total investment is approximately 845 million yuan, with an estimated annual on-grid power generation of 650 million kWh, equivalent to saving 200,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 520,000 tons per year. In terms of environmental protection, the project strictly implements soil and water conservation and land reclamation standards, has completed environmental impact assessment approval and planning permits, and carried out topsoil stripping and ecological restoration during construction to ensure a 100% land reclamation rate, creating a "wind power + energy storage + ecology" integrated green demonstration project.
