  • Project Background:

    The National Power Investment Corporation's Shandong Liaocheng Chiping Phase I 62.5MW Wind Power Project is invested and constructed by Huadian Liaocheng New Energy Co., Ltd. It is located in the areas of Dulangkou Town, Fengguantun Town, and Hutu Town in Chiping District, and is one of Shandong Province's key new energy projects during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The project has a total installed capacity of 62.5MW, consisting of 10 wind turbines with a single-unit capacity of 6.25MW. The rotor diameter is 220 meters, and the hub height is 160 meters, adopting a high-tower design to enhance power generation efficiency in the low-wind-speed areas of the Luxi Plain. The project includes a newly built 220 kV booster station, which completed provincial dispatch system commissioning and testing in January 2025, marking the readiness of the critical step for connection to the provincial power grid system . As of February 2026, the first wind turbine has been hoisted, main installation is in full swing, and work is progressing on the remaining turbine hoisting, collection line laying, and pre-grid-connection system joint commissioning. The project is scheduled to achieve full-capacity grid connection in the third quarter of 2026 . The total dynamic investment of the project is approximately 420 million yuan, with an estimated average annual on-grid power generation of 145 million kWh, equivalent to saving 43,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 115,000 tons per year. In terms of environmental protection, the project has completed permanent basic farmland replacement and adjustment , strictly implements soil and water conservation and land reclamation standards, and simultaneously carries out topsoil stripping, slope protection, and vegetation restoration to ensure a 100% land reclamation rate, creating a demonstration of coordinated "wind power + efficient land use" development.
