  • Project Background:

    The Yulin Hengshan 100MW Wind Power Project is located in Hengshan District, Shaanxi Province, with a total installed capacity of 100MW, equipped with 16 wind turbines each rated at 6.25MW, with a rotor diameter of 202 meters and a hub height of 160 meters, using concrete-steel hybrid tower wind turbines adapted to the loess hilly terrain to improve transport and wind resistance stability. The project includes a new 110kV booster station, with power transmitted via one 110kV line to the Yulin South 330kV substation for clean energy export. Construction began in July 2025, and the main project was essentially completed by February 2026. Collection line laying and grid-connection commissioning are currently underway, with the project scheduled to achieve full-capacity grid connection in the third quarter of 2026. The dynamic total investment is approximately 710 million yuan, with an estimated annual on-grid power generation of 230 million kWh, equivalent to saving 75,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 200,000 tons per year. The project simultaneously implements high-standard ecological restoration, strictly adhering to the Class I standards for soil erosion control on the Northwest Loess Plateau, with topsoil stripping and return rates and forest and grass vegetation restoration rates both exceeding 90%, and a 100% land reclamation rate, creating a model of "wind power + ecological restoration" coordinated development.
