Project Background:
The SPIC Yulin Zizhou 50MW Wind Power Project is developed by the Yulin Business Department of SPIC Shaanxi Company. Located in the loess hilly area of Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, at an altitude of 1,000–1,300 meters, it is a key new energy project under the national "14th Five-Year Plan." The project has a total installed capacity of 50MW, equipped with 8 wind turbines each rated at 6.25MW, with a rotor diameter of 202 meters and a hub height of 160 meters, using concrete-steel hybrid tower structures. It includes a new 110kV booster station, connected via double-circuit 110kV lines to the Hengshan Wind Power Joint Booster Station, and ultimately integrated into the Yulin South 330kV substation for transmission. Construction began in 2024, with the first turbine hoisted in November 2025 and full-capacity hoisting completed in December of the same year. The project is scheduled to achieve full-capacity grid connection on September 30, 2026. As of February 2026, it has entered the grid-connection commissioning phase with stable power generation capability. The dynamic total investment is approximately 1.1 billion yuan, with an estimated annual on-grid power generation of about 124 million kWh, equivalent to saving 40,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 100,000 tons per year. The project simultaneously meets both soil and water conservation and land reclamation standards, consistent with the loess plateau ecological restoration development model. All statutory approval procedures and EPC tendering have been completed, and construction quality and safety control meet SPIC's high standards.
