Project Background:
No.8 Chengdu Financial City is located at the intersection of Jiaozi Avenue and North Jiaozi 1st Road, Hi-Tech Zone. Formerly known as Strait Friendship Building, construction kicked off in 2013 and halted in 2015. After Chengdu Hongchang Jiatai Real Estate Co., Ltd. completed equity takeover in April 2023, the project resumed construction and was renamed.
Covering a total land area of 27.54 mu, the project plans four super high-rise towers of around 160 meters with a total construction area of 308,669 sqm, building a top-tier integrated complex integrating industry, commerce and residence. Tower T3 is exclusively high-end residential with 46 floors and 132 units, ranging from 220 to 600 sqm. It adopts a Five-Constant Climate Control System (constant temperature, humidity, oxygen, cleanliness and quietness) plus smart safe house design. Towers T1, T2 and T5 house Premium Grade A offices and luxury penthouse apartments, supported by a 3-story commercial podium to seamlessly integrate business, living and consumption.
The building facade combines unitized glass curtain walls and champagne gold aluminum panels to deliver minimalist modern aesthetics, forming a coordinated skyline dialogue with the Jiaozi Twin Towers. The project offers direct access to Exit A of Financial City Station on Metro Line 1. Within a 3-kilometer radius lie top-tier commercial and ecological resources including SKP, Global Center and Jiaozi Park.
The residential segment obtained pre-sale approval on December 10, 2025, with a bare flat average price of approximately 69,000–78,000 RMB per sqm, and handover is scheduled for May 2028. -
