Project Background:
Wuhan Junshan Yangtze River Bridge is the fourth Yangtze River bridge in Wuhan, a deep-water extra-large highway cable-stayed bridge, and the widest bridge of its type in China at the time. In the 17 years since its opening, the bridge structure has endured various harsh service environment conditions, particularly severe vehicle overweight issues and large diurnal temperature differences on the deck, which have accelerated the overall aging of the bridge. Therefore, in 2017, the Junshan Bridge underwent a major reinforcement and maintenance project. To meet the box girder reinforcement requirements, the design team adopted a prestressed carbon fiber system reinforcement design scheme. Meanwhile, due to our anchorage's characteristics of small slotting and high anchoring efficiency, Horse was awarded the contract and undertook the supply task of a total of 3,220 sets of prestressing systems spanning 46 approach spans, totaling 1,380 meters.
