Project Background:
With the accelerated development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, traffic volume on the Yuxiang Expressway has continued to grow rapidly, with a significant increase in the proportion of heavy freight vehicles. Additionally, this section is located in a humid subtropical climate zone, characterized by high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and high humidity year-round, with some areas prone to ice and snow disasters in winter. To implement the Ministry of Transport's deployment requirements for "improving the service performance of aging expressways" and "strengthening the safety and resilience of long bridges and tunnels," it is urgent to carry out systematic testing and assessment of the Yuxiang Expressway, and to implement scientific and precise maintenance and reinforcement for key structures with prominent deterioration and insufficient load-bearing capacity.
