Project Background:
The Quanzhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge is located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, spanning Quanzhou Bay. It is an important component of Quanzhou's Ring Expressway. Built in 2008, the bridge has experienced increased loads during its service due to high traffic volume and vehicle overloading, leading to deterioration such as cracks in the beams and slabs. Since its completion, the relevant authorities have conducted annual safety inspections and implemented certain maintenance measures. In view of the current cracking issues in the beams and slabs, it has been decided after study to seal and inject the cracks at the bottom of the bridge.
