Project Background
The logistics and warehousing project of Plots 25ABCDEF, Phase I of Xiangyu Bonded Zone covers a construction area of 52,000 square meters. Originally built as a logistics park, the building was later reconstructed into a free trade supermarket due to changes in actual usage demands, which necessitated structural reinforcement of the original building.
In accordance with the requirements of the *Technical Standard for Inspection of Building Structures* (GB/T 50334-2004), prior to the change of usage and renovation, relevant parties entrusted a qualified engineering quality inspection institute to test structural performances including existing defects and damages of the original structure, bearing capacity of structural members and structural deformation.
Based on the inspection results, steel bonding reinforcement was adopted for beams and columns. The constructor adopted a rigorous approach when selecting steel bonding adhesive and conducted field investigations in multiple regions. Ultimately, Horse steel bonding adhesive was designated as the special adhesive for this reinforcement project thanks to its stable performance advantages. -
