Project Background:
Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant is located on the coast of Dapeng Peninsula in Shenzhen, in a high-salt, high-humidity, marine corrosive environment. It is China's first large-scale commercial nuclear power plant. The units have been operating for many years and have undergone numerous refueling outages and technical upgrades. As service life extends, structures age, embedded components fail, and there is demand for new equipment anchoring, seismic retrofitting, and system modifications, concrete structures such as the reactor building, turbine building, auxiliary buildings, circulating water structures, equipment foundations, and supports need reliable anchoring and reinforcement. This project strictly follows nuclear safety standards and nuclear-grade rebar planting specifications, utilizing corrosion-resistant materials and nuclear-grade construction control. Rebar planting is carried out during outage windows to restore structural capacity, enhance durability and seismic performance, and ensure long-term safe and stable operation of the units.
