  • Project Background:

    The Daqing La Wu Substation 12.5 MW Wind Turbine Tower Project (full name: "Daqing La Wu Substation Area Smart Microgrid Pilot Project") is constructed by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group and located in Qingxin Subdistrict, Ranghulu District, Daqing. It is the first "wind power + smart microgrid" demonstration project within the China National Petroleum Corporation system. The project has a total installed capacity of 12.5 MW, consisting of 2 wind turbines with a single-unit capacity of 6.25 MW. The rotor diameter is 204 meters, and the hub height is 160 meters. The tower adopts a steel-concrete hybrid structure (steel tower section + precast concrete section), offering both high rigidity and operational safety. The project is equipped with a 35 kV collection line, box-type substations, and a smart microgrid control system, achieving 100% self-consumption of renewable energy within the substation's power supply area, with green power self-balance reaching 70%. The project completed its environmental impact assessment disclosure in 2024 and is expected to be connected to the grid within 2025, generating approximately 30 million kWh annually, equivalent to saving 9,200 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by about 24,000 tons per year. As an innovative practice in the green transformation of oilfields, although specific energy storage configuration details have not been disclosed, based on the Industrial Green Microgrid Construction and Application Guidelines (2026–2030) and its demonstration positioning, it is highly likely to integrate an energy storage system to achieve source-grid-load-storage collaborative autonomy, providing a replicable technical paradigm for distributed renewable energy local consumption in mature oilfields.
