Project Background:
Neusoft (Wuhan) Intelligent Connected Vehicle Research Institute is located at Plot 31C2 of Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, bordering Shenlong Avenue to the south and Taizihu Road to the east. It is the third R&D base built by Neusoft Group nationwide, forming the core cluster of "Three Neusoft Institutes" together with the Smart City Research Institute and Smart Medical Research Institute.
The project covers a total land area of approximately 29,069.06 square meters with a total construction area of 41,837.61 square meters and a total investment of about 700 to 800 million RMB. The overall industrial park (including the three institutes) has a total investment exceeding 3 billion RMB. Construction started in September 2022 and was completed and put into operation as scheduled on April 28, 2024, with a construction cycle of only 18 months, demonstrating the "Neusoft Speed".
Centered on the strategy of "Software-Defined Vehicles", the research institute focuses on the R&D of autonomous driving algorithms, hardware and software integration for intelligent cockpits, V2X vehicle-road coordination systems and vehicle-mounted information security (NeuSAR platform and S-Car solutions). It deeply participates in national demonstration projects of integrated vehicle-road-cloud infrastructure, supporting Wuhan to build a nationally leading innovation center for intelligent automotive software.
As the core carrier of Wuhan Intelligent Automotive Software Park, the institute has attracted more than 1,000 R&D personnel, becoming a source of intelligent connected vehicle technologies in Central China, and has been selected as a provincial characteristic industrial cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises. -
