Project Background:
Shanghai Pudong International Airport, as a global super-large aviation hub, handles annual passenger throughput exceeding 80 million and cargo throughput exceeding 4 million tons. With increasing operational years and continuously rising traffic volumes, some existing facilities are facing challenges such as ground subsidence, pavement distress, and structural aging. To ensure aviation safety and enhance the resilience of hub operations, the airport has launched a comprehensive engineering reinforcement project across the entire site, covering core areas including the airfield, connecting passage bridges, and supporting facilities. Adhering to the core principles of "millimeter-level precision control and full-cycle safety assurance," it aims to set an industry benchmark for reinforcement and renovation of super-large airports
